Hosted by Ida B’s Table
June 19, 2018
A full house at Ida B’s Table for its Juneteenth celebration. Folks gathered to meet and greet guest-of-honor and award-winning culinary journalist Toni Tipton-Martin. They had the opportunity to buy her book, “The Jemima Code: Two Centuries of African American Cookbooks.” Some of the book’s traditional Juneteenth dishes also inspired those included in the evening’s multi-course dinner.
