Anne Apgar Celebration

Anne Apgar Celebration

June 28, 2018 – Home of Ted & Faith Millspaugh, Federal Hill

Featured Event

Friends and family of community activist Anne Apgar gathered at the Federal Hill home of Ted and Faith Millspaugh to surprise her in celebration of her 70th birthday, and to honor her for her hard work with the South Harbor Renaissance in improving Federal Hill Park.

Mission accomplished! Thanks to the covert operations directed by husband Sandy Apgar (L), the surprise went off without a hitch…having the desired effect on Anne (C), here being greeted by her brother, Travers Nelson.

Sandy Apgar started off the evening’s tributes with a moving speech about his beloved spouse.

Maryland State Senator Bill Ferguson presented Anne with a proclamation citing her leadership with the Federal Hill Park improvements. He was followed by Baltimore City Council member Eric Costello with similar honors from the city.

Then, it was back to enjoying the evening for Anne et al.
