Royal Farms Arena was abuzz – or should we say, “abark” – with excitement, as hundreds of humans joined dozens of dogs and cats for lots of getting-to-know-you time at a cocktail reception before the evening’s big event – a “fashion show,” featuring two-legged models paired with four-legged BARCS shelter residents up for adoption.
Guests mingled on the Arena’s main floor, where they could get up-close-and-personal with the available BARCS adoptees, although some folks grabbed their seats early for the show.
The rest of the seats rapidly filled as showtime approached.
