July 18, 2019 Arts + Parks Park Maintenance Fundraiser Arts + Parks kicked off its summer maintenance program with an early evening get-together at Nancy by SNAC. Folks could enjoy good food and drink, peruse and buy art, enter raffles – and, of course, make donations – while enjoying good company. Proceeds from the party would go to maintaining the parks already created by the nonprofit, whose stated mission is to “blend street art and purposeful landscaping to transform forgotten places into holistic community spaces.” Pictured (LtoR) Arts + Parks colleagues: Justin Nether, co-founder/art director; Elisa Victoria, co-founder/environmental director; Terrell Brown, community outreach coordinator; and Jake Balter, project coordinator Pictured (LtoR) Kevin Brown, Nancy by SNAC owner; Elena Walsh, Baltimore City Public Schools teacher; Jameson Walsh, 8 months; and Stephen Walsh, Baltimore-based sales consultant Pictured (LtoR) Gloria Mack, visual artist/art teacher/designer; and Phyllis Berger, Johns Hopkins University Center for Visual Arts photography professor Pictured (LtoR) Laura Emberson, Baltimore City Public Schools art teacher; Yvette Emberson, Johns Hopkins University student; and Jamie Halpin, community volunteer Pictured (LtoR) Bree Payne, Baltimore-based development coordinator; and Sheba Sheikhai, Native American Lifelines artist-in-resident Pictured (LtoR) Stefanie Rain, The Wine Source sales associate; and Paul Gresko, The Wine Source sales associate Pictured (LtoR) “Big Fred” Watkins, Baltimore-based comedian; and Becca Bakre, Baltimore-based financial/life coach Pictured (LtoR) Lexi Liu, Premier Rides project administrator; and Justin Mattas, Stansberry Research podcast executive producer(July 15, 2019 – Nancy by SNAC)
