Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh hosted a (mostly) girl get-together to watch the first episode of the new season of “Project Runway,” which had a couple of Baltimore connections. Former winner Christian Siriano – who attended Baltimore School for the Arts – had taken over the mentor role, formerly held by Tim Gunn.
In addition, Baltimore designer Bishme Cromartie was one of this season’s competitors. Bishme was the party’s guest of honor at the event…receiving a wide round of applause from those at the pre-viewing reception, which included models wearing some of his designs.
Guests enjoyed the cocktail hour in The Walters’ sculpture court before heading into the museum’s auditorium to watch the show.
