More than 300 young professionals gathered at Haven Street Ballroom for Emerging Leaders United’s annual fun fundraiser.

Guests had a chance to enjoy a little wine, a little food and learn a lot about ELU, the United Way of Central Maryland’s network of hundreds of young professional supporters.

Franklyn Baker, United Way of Central Maryland president/CEO addressed the gathering.
“We know that no one can make change alone—whether you are a neighborhood leader or a single donor. That’s why our networks, especially ELU, are so critical to our success—what we do as individuals matters, what we do together amplifies ALL of us,” he said.

Chuck Billig from A.J. Billig & Company artfully raised funds through the group’s first live auction to benefit Ride United, a partnership between United Way and Lyft to provide transportation to those in need.
