The Baltimore Museum of Art officially dedicated a rotunda in its European Art Galleries to Baltimorean and internationally renowned filmmaker, author and artist John Waters in front of a small group of friends, keeping to COVID guidelines and restrictions. Waters has bequeathed part of his extensive art collection – including many of his own creations – to the BMA.

After the official dedication and ribbon-cutting, BMA director Christopher Bedford and board chair Clair Zamoiski Segal led the group to the museum’s Sculpture Garden where folks could remove their masks and toast the man of honor.
