A couple hundred friends and supporters of the American Visionary Art Museum turned out to celebrate its founder/director, Rebecca Alban Hoffberger, who is retiring in early 2022. Guests roamed the museum and checked out its exhibits first, before heading to AVAM’s Jim Rouse Visionary Center for dinner and tributes/roasts from friends like cult filmmaker/author/artist John Waters and UMBC president Freeman Hrabowski, III.
