Hundreds turned out at the Enoch Pratt Free Library’s Central Library for its ever-popular Black & White Party, hosted by the library’s young professional group of supporters, the Pratt Contemporaries. Guests adhered to the black and white dress code, while a few also indulged in costuming themselves along the lines of this year’s literary theme, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. As always, the library was elaborately transformed, as well, into a glamorous “lab” – with a DJ creating his own musical concoctions in the center – while folks ate, drank, and danced the night away.
