OH, Calcutta! (April 22, 2016) If you wanted a head start on the Grand National Steeplechase, maybe you headed to the “Old Line Calcutta” on the eve of the race. Gentlefolk gently gathered at Oakdene, one of Greenspring Valley’s historic estates to eat, drink, and take part in the Calcutta auction – all benefiting the Valley Planning Council.
