The NYE concert will see the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall lobby transform once again for the pre-concert “Lit Lobby” experience, followed by the Beethoven to Beyoncé Fusion concert. The concert will conclude with a special NYE edition of The Night Brunch. 

Guests will once again enjoy the cocktail experience powered by the Revival’s dining concepts, Topside and B-Side – to accompany their night at the orchestra. Fans of Revival’s “Lit Lobby” will enjoy the iconic party, featuring handcrafted cocktails and a DJ set curated by DJ Impulse, prior to the concert in the lobby of the Meyerhoff. The fun begins when the doors open at 7:30 pm. Fusion concert ticketholders are able to access the pre-concert party. 

Conducted by visionary conductor, composer, producer, and songwriter Steve Hackman, the Fusion series blends elements of classical and contemporary music from genres spanning hip-hop, pop and rock. Beginning at 8:30 pm on NYE – From Beethoven to Beyoncé, a fantastical trip through an imaginary music festival, will combine the greatest composers of all time with the best popular artists of today. Lady Gaga sings with Brahms; Bruno Mars improvises with Bach; Wagner conducts while Adele sings; Muse, Shostakovich and Chance the Rapper talk politics; John Mayer fanboys over Mahler; and Beethoven and Beyoncé bring it home with help from Mumford & Sons. Three vocal soloists, one also a multi-instrumentalist, join the full orchestra. Please note that the artists listed above do not appear in the performance. 

The night doesn’t have to end there. As an add-on experience, a New Year’s Eve edition of The Night Brunch takes place in the Meyerhoff Lobby beginning at 10:30 pm. DJ Impulse returns to the DJ booth to provide the sounds for the evening, yummy sips and eats will keep guests fueled for dancing into the New Year, and a complimentary champagne toast takes place at midnight. Guests can purchase tickets to The Night Brunch separately or together with a concert ticket. The Night Brunch event is open to guests 21 and older.
